Office of Student Affairs is a functional department of the university which is responsible for enrolment of undergraduates of regular courses 、guidance for students’ employment、students’ ideological education, student administration、mental health education and construction of counselor teams.

Duties

 

1、The Office of Student Affairs shall carry out the decisions made by Party Committee and Administrative Division of the university; and organize, coordinate and implement relevant student affairs.
2、The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for making and execution of the enrollment plan of undergraduates of regular courses, deploying for welcoming new students, and organizing the educational affairs and physical re-examination of the new students.
3、The office of Student Affairs is responsible for Organization and guiding the student’s employment guidance, and service work.
4、The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for assisting  the relevant departments of the ideological and political education and management students work rules, summarizes the working methods of propaganda promoting in a manner to develop political education of students in the school management plan;
5、The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for students’ mental health education，consultation and emergency intervention system.
6、The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for instructor Construction, including the selection, allotment, cultivation and management of counselors, organizing and guiding counselors to carry out scientific research regarding student work.
7、The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for the Organization and guiding of student education and management, establishing  and improving  various rules and regulations
8、The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for the construction and management of students’ rewards system, including the organization and review of comprehensive evaluation of students, scholarship and rewards.
9、The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for management of students’ non-compliance incidents, and student appeals punishment.
10、The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for the construction and management of support system for underprivileged students, the confirmation of students of financial difficulty, emulation and confirmation of National Scholarship, National Scholarship for Encouragement and National Scholarship for Aid, the organization and development of the programs of state loans for students, work-study, exemption of tuition and miscellaneous fees, and the acceptance and implementation of public financial aid .
11、The Office of Student Affairs takes part in the coordination of the disposal of students’ accidents.
12、The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for students covering school liability insurance, assist work of Medicaid for students
13、The Office of Student Affairs is responsible for budget arrangement and management of students’ funds.
14、The Office of Student Affairs participates in the management of student dormitories.
15、The Office of Student Affairs shall fulfill other jobs delivered by the higher departments in charge and school leadership.
