The school has a complete and well-staffed faculty of 181, including 24 full professors, 51 associate professors, 10 doctoral supervisors, 45 master tutors. Among them, there are 40 doctors, 92 masters, 20 doctoral students and 29 master degree candidates. In other words, 73% of the teachers have got a master degree or above. There are 9 recipients of the Governmental Special Allowance of the State Council, 1 National Outstanding Teacher, 2 Outstanding Teachers of Institutions of Higher Education in Fujian Province, 1 Innovation Team of Institutions of Higher Education in Fujian Province, 12 scholars that have been selected into the Talent Project in the New Millennium, 14 would-be academic pacesetters and 12 Key Young Teachers of the University.
